Hang Seng Index falls lower at midday

Hang Seng Index edges lower at midday on Wednesday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index fell 90 points, or 0.37 percent, to 24,403 points.

The half-day market turnover was at HK$145 billion.

Tech gauge rose 0.17 percent to 4,666 points.

In the mainland, the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index slipped 7 points, or 0.18 percent, to 4,084 points. The Shenzhen Stock Exchange Composite Index was up 0.39 percent to 15,735 points.
