A residential site in Jordan Valley drew eight bids when the tender closed at noon on Friday, Lands Department said.
Henderson Land Development (0012), Sun Hung Kai Properties (0016), K Wah International (0173), Kerry Properties (0683), and CK Asset (1113) were said to have submitted their bids for the plot.
New Kowloon Inland Lot No. 6674 at Choi Hing Road, Kowloon has a site area of 3,830 square meters and is designated for non-industrial purposes, excluding godown, hotel and petrol filling station.
It can provide a maximum gross floor area of 34,470 sq m. The site winner is required to build a day activity center cum hostel for severely mentally handicapped persons, a supported hostel for mentally handicapped persons and a lay-by.
Market valuation for the site ranges from HK$1.48 billion to HK$2.23 billion, or from HK$4,000 to HK$6,000 per square foot.
