China issues draft guidelines on auto sector price irregularities

China's market regulator on Friday announced draft guidelines intended to crack down on price irregularities in automotive  production and sales.

Unfair price behaviour will be in the regulatory crosshairs and a mechanism will be created to flag risks associated with remarkably low prices, the watchdog's statement said.

The regulator is seeking public comment until December 22.
