The Hong Kong Investment Corporation has appointed 10 asset managers for the 2025 batch of capital of the investment portfolio under the New Capital Entrant Scheme, with the expected capital size reaching at least HK$3 billion by the year-end.
These asset managers feature venture capital, private equity, private credit, and hedge fund as strategies, including Abax Global Capital, Beyond Ventures, CMC Capital, FirstLight Capital, Hidden Hill Capital, M Capital, Polymer Capital, Primavera Capital, Trustar Capital/CITIC Capital with Vision Capital Investment Management and Value Partners.
HKIC said the expected 2025 batch of capital of at least HK$3 billion will be evenly allocated to the 10 appointed asset managers, with relevant investment work beginning in the first quarter of 2026.
