FSDC appoints Rocky Tung Yat-ngok as new executive director

The Financial Services Development Council announced the appointment of Rocky Tung Yat-ngok as the new executive director for a term of three years, effective from February 4, 2026.

He will succeed Au King-lun, whose term will conclude on February 3, 2026. 

FSDC said the appointment follows a rigorous open recruitment process conducted by the FSDC’s Selection Panel to ensure alignment with its mission and long-term strategic priorities. 

The council also extends its sincere appreciation to Au for his instrumental role in guiding the FSDC through pivotal initiatives over the past years.

FSDC noted that it looks forward to working with Tung as it continues to drive sustainable growth, innovation, and competitiveness within Hong Kong’s financial services industry and beyond.
