The platform enables investors in Hong Kong to trade seven international markets, said chief executive Richard Abrahams, who added that more markets will become available over the coming months.
Meanwhile, more news, free market data and investor education will be provided on the company's mobile application, Abrahams said in a luncheon with reporters.
Tommy Li, chief technology officer at Magpie Securities, said that the service is mainly targeted educated retail investors aged between 25 to 40 years old.
Li added that the team has around 30 members and will hire more afterward.
Magpie Securities is a securities firm wholly owned by the Nasdaq-listed MICT.
