Talent and innovation took center stage at Ng Yuk Secondary School (NYSS) as Wheelock Properties vice chairman Ricky Wong Kwong-Yiu and a judging panel visited to select this year’s recipients of the Outstanding Sports & Arts Achievement Award.
After a thorough evaluation, five standout students were chosen for their exceptional achievements in both disciplines, according to Wheelock’s Facebook post.
During the visit, the judges toured NYSS’s hydroponic farm at FarmacyHK, where they observed the innovative technology's benefits including energy efficiency, pesticide-free cultivation, and optimal nutrient preservation.
The students' homegrown produce will be partially donated to ELCHK Ma On Shan District Elderly Community Centre and partially used for business training, demonstrating the school's commitment to holistic education.
