A man argued with hotel staff after being stopped from taking food from a buffet in Jiangsu province, with the incident shared online on Sunday.
A Weibo user posted that around 9.30am, a man and his elderly mother were having breakfast at a hotel in Suzhou when the man took out his own container to pack food.

A female staff member politely told the mother the hotel did not allow taking food away, as stated on a notice. The son then reportedly confronted the staff, saying: "This is the first time I've encountered a place that doesn't allow packing. What's wrong with taking some back to eat slowly? You have no service concept."
He allegedly threatened to complain, stared at the staff and became physically aggressive.
In September, a couple in Hong Kong's Tsuen Wan were seen putting seafood and beef from a buffet into their own bag, sparking widespread discussion.
