Worker dies after fall at Tsing Yi shipyard

A worker died on Wednesday after he was said to have lost his footing while working at a ship cradle of Hong Kong Shipyard in Tsing Yi.

The incident happened around 9 am this morning, with the man’s colleagues immediately calling for help after the discovery.

The worker was rushed to Yan Chai Hospital unconscious and later certified dead after resuscitation attempts.
