Cyclone warnings canceled

All cyclone warning signals have been canceled by the Hong Kong Observatory.

As the risks receded, hundrds of people have begun to go about their business in the city. Public bus services are packed at some locations, where long lines formed. MTR stations also began filling up with commuters.

The MTR Corp said rail operations are at peak period frequency, while Light Rail and MTR Bus services are at normal levels.

At 1:00 p.m., Higos was estimated to be about 190 kilometers west-northwest of Hong Kong  and is forecast to move northwest or west-northwest at about 25 km per hour inland and continue to weaken.
