FTSE 100 dips

European stock markets eased at the start of trading today. London's FTSE 100 index of blue chips is down by 0.2 percent.
In the eurozone, Paris shed 0.4 percent, Milan lost 0.1 percent and Madrid gave up 0.3 percent. Frankfurt was flat.
