A Hong Kong police senior superintendent who allegedly molested a female colleague at the police headquarters in Wan Chai was brought to court on Friday.
According to sources, the officer, 49, is Ian Chow Ngai-kong. He was attached to the police force’s support division.
Police said they received a report from a woman on November 4 that she was molested in Wanchai between July and November, with the arrest of the 49-year-old officer coming the next day in Yuen Long. The officer was then suspended from duty.
According to the force, the officer was brought to court on two counts of indecent assault.
