Yau Tong youth charged with trafficking in cocaine worth HK$24m

A 20-year-old suspect arrested in Yau Tong yesterday was charged with drug trafficking after customs made the largest seizure so far this year of 21 kilograms of cocaine valued at HK$24 million at Hong Kong International Airport.
The drugs were hidden in 42 powdered formula cans in an air consignment from the Netherlands.
The man will appear at Kwun Tong Magistrates' Courts tomorrow.
