Chinese embassy in Qatar urges nationals to boost security amid regional tensions

The Chinese embassy in Qatar has issued a consular reminder urging Chinese citizens and businesses in the country to closely follow news and strengthen security precautions as regional tensions escalate.

The embassy noted that the United States has recently increased threats of attacks against Iran, and some personnel at US military bases in Qatar have been told to leave the Al Udeid Air Base.
