Mandy Chan who works at SUPREME Shop, helped a customer who received suspicious mobile messages about the expiration of bank reward points. The messages requested her to enter personal information. Worried, she visited the shop for verification. “I taught the lady how to delete such phishing messages and block suspicious phone numbers as well as try our “Anti-scam Service”. I also reminded her to beware of telephone deception and investment fraud. Now she has become a very vigilant anti-scam ambassador and even proactively shares anti-scam tips with friends,” Mandy said.
Before joining the telecoms industry, Asteria Cheng worked in the premium brand handbag industry, and brought her experience with premium brands to HTHK. She serves customers coffee and chats with them to understand their habits, before recommending products and service packages that would best meet the individual customer needs. A couple wrote a compliment in appreciation of Asteria’s attentive service, praising her pertinent analysis, sincerity and cordial attitude.
With 14 years of sales experience, Miu Lam knows attentive listening to customer needs is essential. She served an elderly who sought help because his phone was suddenly locked. “I helped him unlock the phone, reset certain functions and did a photocatalyst disinfection for his phone. The customer was so happy and introduced his family and friends to register for our service,” Miu said.
Travis Cheng is currently working at 3Shop, having joined the telecoms industry as he wanted a more challenging career. He helped a foreigner who received a bill with huge roaming service charges due to his frequent business travels between mainland China and Macau. Travis suggested he switch to the “Mainland China-HK-Macau monthly plan” to save on roaming fees, and avoid “bill shock”.
With a keen interest in mobile phones and IT-related products, and an affinity for people, Ken Hong has always wanted to work in sales. Although he had initial doubts about his abilities, after acquiring tips from training and work experience, Ken began developing more confidence. With the motto of “teaching a man how to fish”, he always shares selling techniques and experiences with new colleagues for further improvement.
With the rapid advancement of telecoms technology and smartphones becoming daily consumer essentials, Viki Wong joined HTHK upon graduation believing that the industry has great career prospects. She considers that a successful salesperson must possess three characteristics: professionalism, sincerity and reliability. “During the sales process, we must listen attentively to customer needs, introduce products and services suitable to their needs, and build customers’ confidence in our brands, products and services,” Viki added.
The six award-winning sales elites are thankful for a series of training courses provided by the company. Heads from different departments shared their valuable experience and inspired thinking from multiple perspectives, communication skills, adaptability, as well as after-sales service, enhanced selling techniques, and delivering a caring and reliable service experience to customers. HTHK will continue to pursue a customer-centric strategy, attentively listen to customer needs, and provide professional service, thereby allowing customers to enjoy a unique service experience in the 5G era.
