Netizens wreathed in smiles for farewell

An emigrating boss is getting a happy sendoff from his colleagues - but fortunately not with a funeral wreath.

A netizen recently shared a scary moment of how his colleague almost purchased a funeral wreath by mistake.

In a Facebook post, the netizen said all the staff were pitching in with gifts and flowers for a proper farewell.

One colleague was supposed to order a flower bouquet, but he called to ask whether he should get a flower wreath or a flower stand - both used for a funeral service - giving the netizen a fright.

Others made jokes about the card attached to the flower wreath the colleague was about to order.

"Do they need to write 'in loving memory of' on the card?" one teased.

"Does he hate the boss badly?" another asked. Others were pleased the colleague had asked for advice before making a rash decision.
