Working with EASi Solutions Global Technology, Towngas will build a machine that transforms food waste into substances such as carbon dioxide and water by adding a composite microbial culture and utilizing biodegradation to break down food and kitchen waste in an environment maintained at temperatures between 75 deg C and 85 deg C.
The food waste processing machine can reduce the volume of food waste by over 90 percent, leading to savings in transportation and processing costs, Towngas said, adding that the decomposed food waste can be used as fertilizer to turn waste into a valuable resource.
The machine can be installed in various settings, including buildings, hotels, restaurants, hospitals, communities, and housing estates, Towngas noted.
