Kisses for the family

Jimmy Lai's family had a "short reunion" in the courtroom yesterday, with the tycoon pointing at the family reserved seats and blowing kisses several times from the dock.

Lai's wife Teresa Li Wan-kam and his youngest son Lai Shun-lai attended the hearing in the morning, while Lai's daughter Jade Lai, in a black jacket and white pants, arrived in court at around noon.

As Lai was escorted into the courtroom, he waved toward the public gallery.

Li, in a black dress, a red belt, a faux fur vest and a pair of sunglasses, and Lai Shun-lai, wearing a blue vest and a gray hoodie, left the courtroom holding hands, at around 1pm. They did not answer questions from the media.
