Prizes for best plane happy snaps

Domestically manufactured Chinese aircraft C919 will be conducting a demonstration over Victoria Harbour tomorrow.

Carry your favorite camera to document the historic occasion, and sign up to compete in a photo contest.

Jointly conducted by the administration and Airport Authority, the competition is inviting aerophiles to capture and share the special moment.

The aircraft will take off at 10.30am from the Hong Kong International Airport and fly over Victoria harbor from west to east twice - first at 1,500 feet and then at 1,000 feet.

Avid photographers aged 18 or above can submit up to three photos via the online registration platform from tomorrow until December 29. Results will be announced next month and winners will be notified individually.

The champion, first and second runner-up will receive two round-trip economy class air tickets departing from Hong Kong to designated long-haul destinations. Additionally, around 50 merit prize winners will receive two round-trip economy class tickets to short-haul destinations.
