Standard keeps patients up to date

Even Covid patients stranded in makeshift hospitals can still keep themselves updated with daily news from The Standard and Headline Daily.

Starting yesterday, Sing Tao News Corporation has been delivering The Standard and Headline Daily to patients who are staying in the Tsing Yi makeshift hospital, and it will adjust the amount of newspapers delivered according to needs. The Tsing Yi makeshift hospital, which started service on Monday, admits people diagnosed with Covid-19 having no or only mild symptoms.

It is also the first of several isolation facilities that Beijing is helping to build amid the fifth wave of Covid infections in Hong Kong.
