Security guard killed in Kwai Chung truck accident

A security guard died after being hit by a truck in Kwai Chung on Friday afternoon (May 8).

Police said the accident occurred at about 4pm outside an industrial building at 30-38 Lam Tin Street in Shek Yam.

The guard was reportedly struck by a truck and sustained severe head injuries.

Paramedics arrived at the scene and pronounced him dead at the scene.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
