The courier company announced Sunday that the surcharge applies to document and parcel deliveries within Hong Kong or Macau for non-monthly account customers. Previously, no fuel fee was charged for such local shipments.
SF Express described the measure as temporary, aimed at "flexibly allocating logistics resources" under unstable external conditions to maintain stable and efficient pickup and delivery services. The company stated it will closely monitor market changes and oil price trends, adjusting the mechanism accordingly.
The move follows several airlines raising fuel surcharges as international fuel prices rise due to the regional conflict.
