A car crashed and flipped onto its roof on the Texaco Road flyover in Tai Wo Hau on Sunday evening, leaving the driver injured.
The accident occurred around 7pm when the white private car was heading towards Tsing Yi. It reportedly lost control near Tsuen Wan Garden, flipping over.
The driver, who sustained a left hand injury, managed to crawl out of the vehicle unaided. He was taken to Yan Chai Hospital in a conscious state.
Images online showed the car's front end severely damaged, smoke rising from the wreckage, a tilted road sign, and a dislodged reflector on a traffic island. The Transport Department announced the closure of the only lane on the flyover heading towards Tsing Tsuen Road near Tak Tai Path due to the incident.
