The event drew participants from major accountancy firms, multinational companies and local organizations. Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po attended as guest of honour, praising ACCA for its community contributions.
"The rickshaw race requires teamwork, where everyone plays a different role to cooperate, just as we work together to drive Hong Kong's development," Chan said.
Team EY FSO won this year's race, which was themed "Run Ahead for inclusive community and sustainable value."
Wilson Cheng, Chairman of ACCA Hong Kong, highlighted the organization's recent response to the Wang Fuk Court fire in Tai Po, where the ACCA Charitable Foundation donated funds to support affected residents.
"We believe that every contribution and every donation is invaluable and can bring real change to those in need," Cheng said.
The event supports three local charitable organizations serving underprivileged communities.
