‘Merry Balloon Light Show’ lights up HK Space Museum with 15 beloved characters

“Merry Balloon Hong Kong” brightens the festive season with its latest attraction: the Merry Balloon Light Show.

From December 23, 2025, to January 11, 2026 (except December 24 and 31), 15 beloved IP characters will appear nightly in adorable costumes, transforming the exterior of the Hong Kong Space Museum into a dazzling kaleidoscope of lights and colours. The show illuminates Victoria Harbour, creating a magical spectacle that delights visitors of all ages.

Accompanied by lively music and dynamic visuals, the event invites residents and tourists to enjoy a unique visual experience and capture unforgettable memories under the illuminated skies.

In addition, Merry Balloon Hong Kong will host the city’s first large-scale IP character balloon parade in January 2026, as well as the Balloon Park, a giant inflatable playground for children at West Kowloon Art Park.
