Police have arrested 120 individuals in connection with the seizure of 493 kilograms of various narcotics valued at HK$280 million, with the youngest suspect being 14 years old
The operation, codenamed "AMBERFLOCK," was conducted from November 2 to this Saturday (Nov 29), following intelligence that drug trafficking syndicates were selling etomidate and cannabis products via online platforms.
The seized drugs included etomidate, cannabis, THC and CBD products, cocaine, ketamine, heroin, magic mushrooms, methamphetamine, and "LSD stamps." Suspected cocaine accounted for the largest quantity confiscated.

During the operation, authorities cracked a total of 77 related cases, resulting in the arrest of 96 local men, 23 local women, and 2 minors, the youngest being 14.
The suspects were arrested on suspicion of trafficking in dangerous drugs, possessing dangerous drugs, and manufacturing dangerous drugs.
In a final round-up operation on Thursday, police arrested three local men.
Additionally, five other cases involving online platform drug trafficking were uncovered throughout the operation.
