7 mainland women arrested in Wan Chai vice raid

Police and immigration officers have arrested seven mainland Chinese women during an anti-vice operation in Wan Chai on Wednesday afternoon.

The Wan Chai police district special duty team, together with the Immigration Department's task force, conducted the operation codenamed TIGERTAIL after gathering intelligence and conducting an in-depth investigation.

Officers raided multiple premises on O'Brien Road, Lockhart Road, Wan Chai Road and Lan Fong Road during the operation.

The seven women, aged between 34 and 46, were arrested for breaching their conditions of stay.

All arrested persons are currently in custody for investigation and will later be handed over to relevant departments for follow-up action.
