A driver lost his life after fainting while behind the wheel on Tsing Kwai Highway, leading to a collision with the roadside near Lin Cheung Road. He was rushed to Princess Margaret Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The fatal accident happened at around 11.45am on Monday when the truck was heading to Tsim Sha Tsui. The driver was found unconscious by rescue personnel at the scene.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by the police.
The fast lane heading towards the Western Harbour Crossing on Tsing Kwai Highway, as well as the access road to the Lin Cheung Road roundabout, was temporarily closed after the accident.
