Photos show bloodied customs officers with 10cm knife wounds after drug raid attack

Photos have emerged showing three bloodied customs officers suffering from multiple 10-centimeter knife wounds after being attacked during a drug raid in To Kwa Wan on Thursday.

One image shows a bespectacled officer lying on the ground with a bleeding right hand wound, surrounded by large pools of blood as paramedics provide emergency treatment. Another photo depicts an officer in black clothing sitting in a stairwell, pressing medical supplies against a left knee wound with a pained expression.

Sources identified the injured as a 29-year-old inspector surnamed Lin with a 4-centimeter knee wound, a 42-year-old senior officer surnamed Chan with two 10-centimeter wounds on his right forearm, and a 36-year-old officer surnamed Lee with 10-centimeter wounds on his right forearm, left knee and right heel.

Customs Commissioner Chan Tsz-tat visited the injured officers at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Thursday evening, confirming two officers required hospitalization for arm and leg chop wounds but were in stable condition, while the inspector received treatment for minor injuries and could be discharged after stitching.
