Two men arrested over fighting at Tsuen Wan West MTR

A physical altercation involving two men broke out at MTR Tsuen Wan West Station on Thursday morning, resulting in both individuals being sent to Yan Chai Hospital for treatment. 

Police received a report at 11.48am on Thursday morning from a 24-year-old surnamed Wong, who stated that he had been assaulted by an unknown middle-aged man on the platform after a minor dispute. 

It is understood that both Wong and the 54-year-old, surnamed So, had attacked each other; and the conflict arose from a disagreement over getting off the train. Wong sustained facial injuries while So suffered head injuries.

The two were arrested for fighting in a public place upon investigation. The case has been referred to District Investigation Team 5 of Tsuen Wan District for further investigation.
