The Korean Internship Program 2025 -- co-organized by the Law Society of Hong Kong, the Korean Ministry of Justice and the Korean Bar Association -- has successfully concluded on August 1.
The two-week program welcomed 18 young Korean lawyers and law students. As the 2025 cohort drew to a close, the parties gathered on the final day of the internship for a farewell dinner to commemorate the shared journey.
Director General of the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency Jaesun Uh and Director of Korean Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong SY Chang also attended the dinner.
"Programs like this not only benefit our interns but also strengthen the legal ties between Hong Kong and Korea," the president of The Law Society of Hong Kong Roden Tong Man-lung said. "Through mutual exchange and collaboration, we build a more connected legal community."
The interns also shared their experiences at the dinner.
The evening concluded with a special rendition of "Stand Together Through Adversity", the anti-pandemic solidarity song originally produced by the Law Society in 2020, to encapsulate the spirit of unity and mutual support that has been the hallmark of the internship program.
