Kai Tak Sports Park has successfully attracted an audience of 180,000 individuals over the past four days, encompassing both local and international participants, who engaged in a celebration of rock and K-pop music.
The achievement follows the recent four-day solo concert series of Cantopop artist Nicholas Tse Ting-fung, which concluded on April 27, alongside a K-Pop concert held on April 26 at the Kai Tak Arena.
The Park emphasizes that the outcome underscores its adeptness and resourceful event management capabilities, which provide an exceptional platform for a diverse array of world-class performances while meeting the expectations of both artists and concert attendees.
It has effectively utilized the distinct characteristics of its two venues, meticulously orchestrated the entry and exit times of events, flexibly deployed facilities and access arrangements, and implemented effective crowd management strategies.
The efforts have facilitated the successful hosting of two large-scale music events concurrently, ensuring a seamless viewing experience for attendees.
Furthermore, the Park stated that audiences can depart using public transportation within 45 minutes following the conclusion of a performance.
John Sharkey, the Park's chief executive, asserted that the Park is committed to delivering the best viewing experience for all audiences, regardless of the event type, whether it be a concert, sports tournament, or other large-scale events.
The Park said numerous large-scale events will be held next month, including concerts by the renowned Taiwanese rock band Mayday and the celebrated singer JJ Lin.
