AI Robotics Showcase with over 50 robots participated held at APM

In celebration of its 20th anniversary, APM -- a mall in Kwun Tong -- recently organized a two-day grand show with around 50 artificial intelligence (AI) robots to perform.

The showcase highlighted the capabilities of over 50 AI robots, including robot dogs, that captivated visitors with their synchronized dance performances. 

Additionally, more than 20 AI robots and robotic arms demonstrated their skills in various activities such as soccer, chess, calligraphy, tea ceremonies, and object sorting.

Notably, two humanoid robots developed by a mainland technology company attracted considerable attention as they gained popularity after appearing on the CCTV New Year's Gala. 

These robots served as "service ambassadors," engaging with customers, providing multilingual responses to inquiries, and acting as "pop-up store managers" to promote products.
