Special arrangements will be arranged at the Sung Wong Toi and Kai Tak Stations on Sunday (Feb 16) as the Kai Tak Sports Park is set to stage a trial event from 3 pm to 6 pm.
Crowd control measures may be implemented to facilitate the smooth dispersal of an estimated 63,000 spectators, according to MTR Corporation. Passengers may be required to queue outside and enter the stations in batches.
It noted that during specific evening periods, especially when audiences are leaving the sports park, Entrances B, C, and D of Kai Tak Station and Entrance D of Sung Wong Toi Station will be designated for "entry only," while Entrance A of Kai Tak Station will be designated for "exit only."
Train services on the Tuen Ma Line will be increased to levels similar to the morning rush hour, with standby empty trains arranged and additional manpower deployed to assist passengers.
Furthermore, the authorities advised the public to refer to the EasyLeave website for details on exit route timings and crowd density, enabling them to select the most suitable exit route.
