Judd Trump, ranked No.1 in world rankings in snooker, has become a Hong Kong resident through the Quality Migrant Admission Scheme, the SAR government’s Information Services Department announced on Tuesday.
The department also noted that the snooker star had received his Hong Kong Identity Card yesterday in the city.
Trump filmed a short Q&A video for the Hong Kong Talent Engage, revealing his love for Hong Kong through topics ranging from his favorite hangout spots to transportation, and food.
In November, seven-time snooker world champion Ronnie O’Sullivan was also granted Hong Kong residency through the Quality Migrant Admission Scheme, making him one of the most notable figures to migrate to the city through the program.
