Special stamps to celebrate HK athletes' achievements in Paris Olympics

Hongkong Post will release stamp sheetlets to celebrate the achievements of team Hong Kong at the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games, with official first-day covers available on Friday (Dec 13).

The collection titled "Congratulations on the Outstanding Achievements of Team Hong Kong, China at Paris 2024" will feature three stamps highlighting athletes competing for medals in fencing and swimming events.

The stamp sheetlet design also included 35 athletes from the Hong Kong team Hong Kong during the Olympic Games.

Meanwhile, Hongkong Post will launch an additional collection titled "Congratulations on the Outstanding Achievements of Team Hong Kong, China at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games." It will also include three stamps showcasing the medal-winning events including swimming, boccia, and badminton.

Official first-day covers for both stamp sheetlets will be available at all post offices and the online shopping mall on Friday.

The stamp sheetlets and related philatelic products will be on sale from December 30, while serviced first-day covers with the stamp sheetlets will be sold exclusively at philatelic offices.

Additionally, a hand-back date-stamping service will be provided on the same day at all post offices for official first-day covers, souvenir covers, and privately made covers with a first day of issue indication and a local address.
