Hong Kong a conduit for mainland, French firms

The Hong Kong government announced on Tuesday that the Three-Runway System at Hong Kong Airport will commence operations on November 28.
It is expected that once the system is operational, it will be able to handle 120 million passengers and 10 million tons of cargo annually.
In the last financial year, Hong Kong Airport managed 45 million passengers and 4.5 million tons of cargo, according to the Hong Kong government.
The introduction of the Three-Runway System is anticipated to bring significant benefits, reinforcing Hong Kong's position as a major aviation hub and enhancing its service capacity to other regions within the country. Additionally, it will create numerous business and profit opportunities for the global aviation and logistics industries.
