A jewelry store, located on the ground floor of a building located on Cochrane Street, was found doused in red paint at 7 am today.
The incident was reported to the police who arrived at the scene to find the exterior of the jewelry store, including the glass door and iron gate, stained with red paint.
The case has been classified as criminal damage, and authorities are reviewing security footage to identify the perpetrators.
The manager of the jewelry store suspects that the motive behind the vandalism may be related to debts owed by his relatives or friends, though he confirmed that these debts are not connected to the store itself. He admitted to being unaware of the specific amounts owed.
Following the incident, the store manager and staff took it upon themselves to clean up the paint stains.
