A woman was rescued after found floating in the water just off Hong Kong Disneyland on Wednesday night.

At about 11 pm yesterday (Oct 2), a woman was floating near the stilts of the Disneyland Resort Pier about 1 meter offshore.
A Passersby who was chatting with a friend noticed her and immediately called the police, stating that they had found a humanoid-shaped object floating in the water.
Firefighters arrived at the scene, rescued the 48-year-old woman, surnamed Cheung and sent her to the North Lantau Hospital for medical attention. She was then transferred to Princess Margaret Hospital.
The police could not find a suicide letter at the scene.
