Wednesday marked the last day of the Tai Hang Fire Dragon Dance, an event held over three consecutive days. Many attendees expressed their reluctance for the festivities to end and stated their intentions to return next year.

Before the fire dragon dance officially commenced, members of the Hong Kong Nunchaku Association performed a fluorescent nunchaku routine, accompanied by the sounds of gongs and drums. They donned fluorescent attire and skillfully manipulated the nunchucks, energizing the atmosphere.
As the little fire dragon was introduced, shouts of admiration filled the air, with spectators calling it beautiful.
For three days straight, young performers danced with the little fire dragon, their enthusiasm undiminished, as they interacted with the crowd.
The event reached its climax when the big fire dragon made its appearance for the finale. Spectators cheered and captured the moment on their mobile phones.
Jeff, a visitor from Shandong, attended the fire dragon dance for three consecutive nights, armed with his camera. He shared that there is no similar tradition in his hometown and found the fire dragon dance to be very unique.
He particularly appreciated the design of the LED-lit small fire dragon, which not only allowed children to engage with the tradition but also helped in passing down the fire dragon culture.
After receiving dragon incense, Jeff, who is currently studying in Hong Kong, mentioned his hopes of achieving a GPA of over 4. When asked if he would feel sad to leave, he expressed his plans to return next year.
A child surnamed Lo, who attended the event with their mother, experienced the fire dragon dance in person for the first time. They described the distribution of dragon incense as the most unforgettable moment and expressed excitement upon receiving the incense.
Lo also shared their reluctance to see the event conclude and expressed hope to receive some dragon incense again in the future.
