The remaining victim was found on the canopy of the first floor, according to the FSD.
Authorities have yet to verify the identities of the victims. It was learned that a 67-year-old man surnamed Lai, and a 70-year-old man surnamed Tsang were among the dead.
The five lives were taken by the No. 3 alarm blaze that burned for two and a half hours at New Lucky House, an old-style residential and commercial building located in Jordan, this morning.
Forty injuries - aged below 1 and 94 - were sent to the hospitals. Five remain in critical condition.
A total of 35 fire engines, 24 ambulances, 160 firefighters and 74 paramedics were deployed.
Although firefighters have yet to confirm whether foul play was involved, police have launched a criminal investigation into the tragedy.
It was learned that the New Lucky House failed to comply with mandatory building inspection after receiving the statutory notices in 2018.
The building has 230 units and was built in 1964.
Separately, Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu visited the injured at Queen Elizabeth Hospital and extended his deepest condolences to the families of the deceased.
