The two were said to have sneaked out from the outdoor training center on Tai Mong Tsai Road during the school camping trip and headed to their friend’s home to spend the night.
The 13-year-old was found in Sham Shui Po this morning while the 15-year-old was in a safe location.
It was understood the two had earlier phoned their family to confirm their safety after the tutor filed a missing report with the police, but the two failed to reveal their location.
The duo was among five teenagers who traveled to an outdoor training center on Tai Mong Tsai Road for an eight-day camping on Monday (July 3). The camping was scheduled to end coming Tuesday (July 10).
Sources said the tutor last saw 13-year-old Chan and 15-year-old Wong sleeping inside their tents at 11 pm on Wednesday, yet the two had disappeared the following morning when the tutor went to check on them at around 7 am. Their belongings were all left behind inside the tent.
The mother of one of the missing teens once wrote on social media that his son had gone missing during a school camping, and had appealed to hikers to help look for his son.
