Five people injured in Shek Tong Tsui fire

Five people were injured in a fire which broke out in western district on Sunday evening.

Fire Services Department received a report at 5.47pm, saying there was a fire at a flat in Yip Cheung Building, Hill Road, Shek Tong Tsui.

With smoke billowing into the sky, residents had to be evacuated to the ground floor and rooftop.

The fire came under control at around 7am. Two men and three women were injured.

The department is investigating the cause of the fire.
