More than 60 additional people quarantined on the Diamond Princess cruise ship operated by Carnival Corp's Princess Cruises, now in Yokohama have tested positive for the new coronavirus that emerged from Wuhan, China, a government official said today.

Kyodo reports that it means there are now more than 150 confirmed cases in Japan, including about 130 on the Diamond Princess in the city, south of Tokyo.
The ship has been kept in quarantine after a passenger, who disembarked in Hong Kong, was found to be infected with the pneumonia-causing virus.

An infected Hong Kong man left the Diamond Princess earlier. Now 130 people on board are infected with the Wuhan coronavirus.
