China’s urban unemployment rate climbed to 5.4 percent in February, the highest in two years, as economic headwinds continue to weigh on the job market.

The February reading is 0.2 basis points higher than a year ago, data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed.
The average rate of unemployment for the first two months stood at 5.3 percent.
The surveyed jobless rate in 31 major cities was 5.2 percent in February -- the highest in half a year.
The average weekly working hours of employed persons in the country's enterprises was 47.1 hours, data showed.
