A car cam clip showing a man fleeing in panic along Tai Po Kwong Fuk Road while pursued by several men, with one waving a knife, spread rapidly online early Saturday morning, prompting public alarm over possible triad violence.
The 1-minute 22-second video, dated January 31 and shared around midnight, captures a man in a light top and dark shorts sprinting desperately in the wrong direction on Kwong Fuk Road towards Po Heung Street. He appears terrified and never stops.
Near the On Fu Road junction, another man in a short-sleeve top and dark trousers stands by the roadside, repeatedly banging a knife on railings before walking towards the fleeing man.
About ten seconds later, four men—one in white, three in black—emerge from On Fu Road.
The white-shirted man steps onto the carriageway to look for the runner while the others move along the pavement. The group soon turns back onto On Fu Road, and the footage ends.
Netizens expressed shock, fearing serious violence or gang-related conflict.
No confirmation yet on injuries or whether police have received a report.
