The one-stop personalized digital services platform “iAM Smart” -- one of the various smart city measures rolled out by the government -- has gained immense popularity among residents with over 3.8 million users registered to date.
On average, more than 180,000 interactions occur daily, underscoring its pivotal role in enhancing access to government services.
Ray Cheung Chui-fat, senior systems manager of the Digital Policy Office, emphasized that iAM Smart is not just a digital tool but a fundamental component of the digital infrastructure aimed at fully digitizing online government services and advancing smart government initiatives.
The Digital Policy Office has been actively collaborating with various government bureaus and departments to streamline access to a unified portal for online services.
Additionally, efforts are underway to work with the governments of Guangdong Province and Shenzhen to implement the Cross-boundary Public Services initiative, enabling residents to seamlessly access government services from both sides of the boundary.
