It’s been a year since Japan’s beloved doughnut brand Mister Donut landed in Hong Kong, and the city’s sweet tooth has only grown stronger.
To celebrate its first anniversary, the brand is rolling out a series of festive surprises — from aromatic new Houjicha-inspired creations to adorable limited-edition collectibles — all designed to share a little extra happiness with its loyal fans.
A fragrant twist on tradition
From October 20 to November 16, 2025, Mister Donut will introduce three limited-time Houjicha Series doughnuts across all stores in Hong Kong. Each creation combines the comforting, roasted aroma of Japanese Houjicha tea with the brand’s signature fluffy texture — offering a new take on classic favourites.
The Houjicha Crunchy Pon de Ring pairs chewy mochi-like dough with crispy rice bits for an irresistible contrast of textures, while the Houjicha Fashion wraps a crisp exterior around a soft interior, topped with smooth white chocolate infused with rich tea notes.
For something indulgently creamy, the Houjicha French features a soft twisted dough filled with velvety Houjicha cream and coated with a luscious layer of Houjicha white chocolate.
A weekend to snap, share, and celebrate
To mark the milestone, Mister Donut is turning K11 Art Mall’s outdoor plaza into a sweet playground from October 24 to 26. Fans can pose with a giant doughnut box installation and the one-year anniversary photo mirror wall — perfect for snapping cheerful, sugar-filled memories.
For those who can’t resist a souvenir, Mister Donut is releasing two sets of limited-edition gifts available only during the celebration period.
From October 24 to 30, customers who purchase a 10-piece box will receive a limited-edition badge featuring the brand’s best-selling Strawberry Pon de Ring and Chocolate Fashion in a playful birthday design. Each store will offer 100 badges per day, available while stocks last.
Then from October 31 to November 6, doughnut lovers can collect one of two embroidered key charms, inspired by the Strawberry Custard French and the Chocolate Chu Chu Churros — fun, colourful pieces that perfectly capture the spirit of the brand.
A year of sweetness, and more to come
Since its arrival in Hong Kong, Mister Donut has quickly won over locals with its signature chewy Pon de Ring, nostalgic flavors, and Japanese-style craftsmanship. As the brand celebrates its first anniversary, its message is simple: to keep spreading joy — one doughnut at a time.
