China's youth jobless rate at 17.7 percent in September

China's jobless rate for 16-to-24-year-olds, excluding college students, stood at 17.7 percent in September, data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed on Tuesday.

The reading was down from 18.9 percent the previous month.
