Some devoted fans started to queue at 4pm on Monday and stayed overnight. The store announced around 7pm that the queuing number has reached the purchase quota for the limited-edition items, leading to disappointment and complaints from some Chiikawa enthusiasts.
The store had previously indicated that products would be released in phases on Tuesday (Apr 15) and the following Monday (Apr 21). While reservations had been open on social media, the daily quotas quickly ran out.
